The first croaks came from the green-robed mage. Almost before he could react, he had become a big-headed frog.
One frog drew no attention, but the green mist was so faint it was almost invisible. The slightest contact made a person's entire body transform uncontrollably into a frog.
By the time they realized what was happening, dense green mist had already filled the vast Grasslands zone. Within it, frogs clumsily kicked their hind legs, trying desperately to escape.
Some mages struggled to maintain their shields, but it was useless. This was not magic at all. It was more like a rule driven by elemental bugs. Even the slightest contact left them unable to escape this calamity.

They were frightened, terrified of bodies they could no longer control.
No one would have guessed that the goat racing freely across the Grasslands had been constructing a magic formation. Every hoofprint it left had been part of the scheme.
Unfortunately, it was already too late. Even the middle-aged figure riding the goat was enveloped in green light.
He desperately waved his webbed feet, repeatedly turning himself into a goat. Yet the goat's tail kept changing length, and dark spots dotted its white coat. Layers of radiant essence seemed to be trying to erase those spots, but their efforts were futile.
His eyes shone as he fixed them on Li Ziran. Having studied the Transformation Spell, he naturally knew the key to breaking it.
"Catch him! Only the caster's blood can break the Transformation Spell," the middle-aged mage said quickly. The goat beneath him teleported through the air, appearing directly above Li Ziran's head.
His palm flipped, and Spatial Chains formed, looping straight around Li Ziran's neck. He tried to pull, but his strength was far too weak.
A tug from
