Tender flesh rolled over the coating of the goat's tongue as Li Ziran slowly savored the changes in the elements. Besides a faint fragrance, there was an orange-like bitterness.
His breakthrough with Frog Transformation had taught Li Ziran some of the deeper truths of transformation. By transplanting several Light Organs into the goat, he had successfully upset the equilibrium of the Sheep Transformation Spell.
However, it had not fully freed him from his goat form. Only a few organs had regained their abilities.
The Hellhound's tongue could barely make out the taste of elements, and the Devouring Stomach could extract some elements, but neither was anywhere near its peak performance.
He needed to taste Ke'er's flesh and blood. There was no other way. At the very least, he had to determine the elemental composition of someone favored by the natural elements.

That was Li Ziran's conclusion. Her flesh and blood contained very few conflicting flavors, reminding him of the ultimate elements he had tasted before.
