Triangle Council Square had, after a burst of emerald-green Dragon Flame, completely become a sea of frogs. This tide of frogs spread ceaselessly outward with the Triangle Council at its center.
Frog Disaster!
No one would ever have imagined that such a disaster would strike the very heart of the Human Race. Those noble councilors and outstanding aristocrats of ordinary days lost their human forms in the blink of an eye.
Clad in oily green coats, barefoot, crawling on the ground with puffed cheeks, they croaked away. Amid those cries, the bleating of sheep could occasionally be heard.
The two strange sounds intertwined like a drifting rhythm in springtime.
It was winter. Perhaps these creatures could not wait to welcome winter's arrival.
The Black Dragon's two black claws emerged, and its ferocious head looked down upon the tiny ants below.
It seemed utterly disdainful of these powerful Mages.
Its enormous dragon body squeezed out from the Derivative Space. It strode forward with thunderous steps, each one seeming to shake heaven and earth.
Triangle City's grand buildings, once so magnificent, now crumbled like tofu.
It was advancing.
Wherever it passed, it left behind a streak of crimson-gold Dragon Flame, within which stood gleaming golden goats.
Whenever the mood took it, the Dragon Flame would turn emerald-green again.
The fate of the Human Race shifted back and forth between frogs and sheep, spreading from the very center of the Triangle Council all the way toward Triangle City's easternmost edge.
The Mages who had escaped transformation rejoiced that the Black Dragon had not turned its claws against the Triangular Tower.
No one knew where the Black Dragon was headed. It did not go toward the western rainforest, but instead toward the hilly region with its countless slopes.
Sadly, no one could explain why.
