Li Ziran made himself right at home and picked a chair at random. With so few people scattered around, though, this hardly felt like an auction. It was more like afternoon tea.
Outside, things were bustling, yet inside, everything was quiet and deserted. It was distinctly odd.
There was no auctioneer on the stage, so the auction clearly would not begin for a while.
With nothing to do, he glanced around. To his left were three women with skin as translucent as jelly. Although they barely maintained human forms, he could tell they had assumed them through a Transformation Spell.
To his right were a man and a woman sitting intimately together, seemingly a couple, yet they gave off entirely different impressions. The woman looked rather fierce, while the man was excessively cold.
At the very front, five creatures huddled together. They had no human shells and were entirely octopus-shaped. Li Ziran recognized this race: they were Sea Gods, one of which he had killed before.
They were gathered together now, gurgling loudly about something, but he could not understand a word.
The supposed disciple of the founder of the elemental gland was sitting with two girls, laughing and chatting animatedly. To his right sat an icy girl, motionless in her seat, while the chair behind her and the grass beneath her feet had completely frozen over.
"Hey, what tribe are you from?" Just then, a deep voice suddenly sounded behind him.
He turned to find a starfish with gems hanging from its five arms and patterns covering its body. It floated in midair, the spots on its markings constantly pulsing as though drawing in and expelling elements. Strange magnetic forces radiated from its body, colliding with one another and producing flashes of electricity.
"The Nature Tribe!" Li Ziran casually
