William still seemed to harbor an obsession with the Human Race. Every representative under his command retained human form. In that hill region that was gradually splitting apart and collapsing, humans emerged one after another from derivative space, only to be preserved intact.
The hills split apart with astonishing speed, yet at their very center, a structure resembling an Elemental Gland pulsed faintly like a heart. With every pulse, slender patterns extended across its surface. Like magical markings from some ancient history, the moment they appeared, they set the surrounding rubble spinning.
As the stones spun at high speed, those hard rocks were slowly ground into fine powder. The black sea beneath the hills was also breaking down. The two spread over that special organ like a veil of gauze, layering thicker and thicker until its central shape could no longer be seen.
From afar, it looked like a black-red celestial body. More and more dust piled above the gland, gradually forming solid land.
Boom!
A violent crash rang out. A crack suddenly tore through the thick dust, and the newly formed terrain surged upward at breathtaking speed, becoming a towering mountain. Its peak slowly split apart, spewing forth scarlet magma.
Everyone watched closely, as if trying to observe the changes in the Void Elements within that wisp of structure. Yet what they saw made them all frown deeply.
Clearly, none of them had grasped the mysteries of the Void behind the hills' evolution. Yet more and more volcanoes erupted across this unique celestial body. It was not merely red magma—there were also oily green gases, sapphire-blue liquid water, and all manner of strange vapors spewing from the volcanic vents.
As those gases continued to erupt, a dense atmosphere actually formed over the surface of the celestial body. Drawn by
