Undead Creatures

"Supreme Master, Undead Pharaoh Thutmose swore eternal loyalty to you. My consciousness and soul would belong to you."

Undead Pharaoh knelt on one knee, his hoarse voice echoing through the room.

"You have a name?"

Lucifer looked at the Undead Pharaoh before him in surprise. As his creation, Lucifer could completely control everything about him. Although the Undead Pharaoh was a monster created from a mummy within the ruins and the soul of a necromancer,

at his core, he was an entirely new life and existence.

"Supreme Master, this name was carved into this body."

"Fine."

Lucifer did not pay much attention to it. Within this Dungeon, he was the absolute master. As for the issue with the Undead Pharaoh, the mummy had probably been an immensely powerful being in life, and even after death, part of that power had remained within his body.

That was the fundamental reason the Undead Pharaoh was so powerful. Otherwise, how could the soul of a mere official necromancer possibly give birth to such a formidable Undead Pharaoh?

"Thutmose, from today onward, you will be responsible for guarding these ruins." Lucifer looked at the magical equipment floating nearby. "All of this will be entrusted to you as well."

"Yes."

With a beckoning gesture from the Undead Pharaoh, the magical equipment floating in midair automatically flew before him. An ancient, tattered pharaoh's robe wrapped around his body, a staff made of bones rested in his hand, and a pitch-black spellbook floated at his side.

Turning around, the Undead Pharaoh headed toward the Ruin Core. Over the long passage of time, most of the magical puppets and traps within the ruins had ceased to function. His next task was to restore the ruins.

After the Undead Pharaoh left, Lucifer took out more materials. One Undead Pharaoh alone could not guard the entire Sixth Layer.

3 Necrotic Crystals + bones filled with death energy + Necromancy

Monster Creation.

Light flared once more. The Necrotic Crystals melted within the light and flowed into the bones, while Necromancy bestowed their essence upon them. A Skeleton Mage clad in black robes and floating in midair appeared on the spot.

Lucifer looked at the Skeleton Mage floating before him. Creating one monster like this required a full 2 points of Primordial Power, but Lucifer still spent another thirty points of Primordial Power to create fifteen Skeleton Mages.

Five of them were given to the Undead Pharaoh as subordinates, while the remaining eleven were sent into the Death Mountains. With their abilities in Necromancy and Undead Summoning, as long as they had suitable materials and enough time, they could summon new members of their kind.

Over the following period, Lucifer used his experience creating Skeleton Mages to create monsters with different abilities: Skeleton Warriors, Skeleton Archers, Skeleton Deathguards, Ghost Assassins, and others.

These monsters were only lv3, and each cost merely 0.5 points of Primordial Power. With a wave of his hand, Lucifer created fifty of each kind. As usual, he gave a few of each to the Undead Pharaoh, then tossed all the rest into the Death Mountains.

They could summon and alter new members of their kind themselves.

"The monsters in the Death Mountains and the ruins are sufficient now. All that's left is the desert next door and the Lava Sea."

Because of the Sixth Layer's environment, ordinary monsters were not suited to survive here. Therefore, Lucifer planned for the Sixth Layer to mainly consist of undead creatures, while the neighboring desert could have some special monsters created within it.

[Description: A semi-elemental life-form living in the scorching Gobi Desert. Its blazing Steel Body is armor it was born with. Its enormous iron pincers can sever steel, while the venomous stinger on its tail contains lethal fire venom. It is a deadly hunter of the Gobi Desert.]

"Not bad, not bad. If Flame-Iron Scorpions want to reproduce, they need to go to the Lava Sea and consume large amounts of fire elements. That just happens to fill the vacancy in the Lava Sea."

However, having only one kind of monster in such a vast Gobi Desert would be far too monotonous. Lucifer used earth elements to create another giant worm-like monster. Its dense fangs resembled a meat grinder, and it could sense vibrations in the ground to hunt prey.

"Oh, right. I nearly forgot the adventurers' old friends."

With a thought, Lucifer transferred another batch of the heavily reproducing Goblins and Slimes from the earlier layers, tossing them into the Fifth Layer and Sixth Layer respectively. He believed that with their weed-like reproductive and survival abilities, they would surely find a way to survive on the Sixth Layer.

If they could not survive, Lucifer did not care. After all, these two kinds of monsters were as rampant as mushrooms in his Dungeon.

"Speaking of mushrooms..." Lucifer's mental power turned toward the entrance of the Sixth Layer. One Puchi after another emerged from the passage while spraying spores, with endlessly spreading mycelium trailing behind them. "Fungus Lord, you really came running the moment you caught the scent."

Lucifer still held quite a special affection for the first monster he had created.

"Puchi~ Puchi~"

Seemingly sensing Lucifer's gaze, the many Puchis spraying spores twisted their plump, round bodies and began bouncing around.

After taking a glance, Lucifer stopped paying attention. However, he still transferred some Puchis to the areas of the Sixth Layer where the Goblins and Slimes lived. With the mushrooms grown after Fungus Lord's adaptive evolution, the Goblins and Slimes would be able to survive as well.

"There's still forty points of Primordial Power left. I'll use them to fill out the monsters on the Fifth Layer."

After glancing at the remaining Primordial Power on the panel, Lucifer turned his gaze toward the Fifth Layer, now the Dungeon's most favorable environment. The Sixth Layer had become something like a forbidden zone of death. In the future, adventurers wanting to explore the Sixth Layer would definitely need to replenish supplies on the Fifth Layer.

Therefore, Lucifer planned to give future adventurers some trouble.

Lucifer looked at the palm-sized Flower Fairies before him. Though they were so tiny, their strength was no less than that of an adult man. Paired with Aura Concealment, they were practically born thieves.
