"Move your ass, or I'll remove it for you."

White-Feather Chicken's deep voice rang out just in time.

"Tch."

Cow-Horse reluctantly lifted its rear.

Its two claws gripped the edge of the chef's hat. With a forceful pull, White-Feather Chicken shot into the air.

Compared to its usual imposing appearance, however, the head chef looked rather disheveled now. Its body was covered in scraps and crumbs of all kinds of ingredients, as though it had just been paraded through the streets.

"You'd make a pretty good stew like this."

Cow-Horse mocked.

"Do you want to become giblet soup?"

White-Feather Chicken shook off the mess covering its body and spoke coldly.

"No."

Cow-Horse shook its head like a rattle-drum.

"Then shut up. Human, come here."

White-Feather Chicken said to Liu Zheng.

"Okay."

Liu Zheng cautiously walked over to it.

A flash of blade light swept past, and his two tentacles and several strips of "kelp" fell to the floor.

White-Feather Chicken plunged the Dragon-Scale Blade into the ground, picked up the tentacles and "kelp," then left the break room without looking back.

Liu Zheng clung to the doorframe and watched for a long while, until the other's figure had completely disappeared.

"It really left this time, right?"

He closed the door and muttered to himself.

"What are you scared of? Let it try coming back for another round. This time, I'll pluck every last feather off it."

Cow-Horse said fiercely.

"Why didn't you say that just now?"

Liu Zheng rolled his eyes.

"What the hell do you know? I was letting it off just now."

Cow-Horse argued with conviction.

"Heh. You should lie down properly. Don't let your wound split open again later."

He looked at Cow-Horse's massive rear.

"Where are you looking, kid?"

Cow-Horse glared.

"That's where you were injured.
