"Yeah."
Ace said.
"Those guys in the Finance Department are all big shots. Every time they draft a budget, they run us ragged. If they step in, the Sanitation Department will definitely show some respect."
"Can they be persuaded to help?"
Liu Zheng asked expectantly.
"Sigh."
Ace let out a long sigh, then finally seemed to make up his mind.
"I can help you, but you have to promise me two things."
"Go ahead."
He nodded.
"First, take me through Chaos Land."
Ace said.
"What's that?"
"The crown jewel of the Red Witch Board-Game Hall, supposedly the hardest Tabletop Roleplaying Campaign module in all of Metropolis. I've tried it so many times, but every time the whole party gets wiped before we even reach Act Three. Tch!"
Ace said irritably.
"I don't mind playing with you, but I'm not confident I can get you through it. I'm actually pretty bad at tabletop campaigns."
Liu Zheng did not make any promises.
"That's fine. If once doesn't work, we'll do it twice. If twice doesn't work, we'll do it three times. As long as you're willing to play with me. Oh, and bring Nightingale along too."
Ace said.
"Don't tell me you like her?"
He raised an eyebrow.
"What? Every time we fail, she says I'm too useless to carry. I just want her to know that she's the useless one who can't carry me."
Ace declared passionately.
"Mm, that's certainly ambitious."
Liu Zheng said with narrowed eyes.
"Of course. I take board games seriously."
Ace said proudly.
"Mm. What's the second thing?"
"Second, you have to help me deal with the blind-date issue."
Ace said.
"Then I'll find someone to fake a blind date with you?"
He immediately had an idea.
After all, Liu Zheng had done something similar in real
