Raising the requirements of a Scenario objective could actually help lift the curse? How did that work?

Xia Lun frowned and began to think, but before he could work it out, White Line offered an explanation.

"Xia Lun, the way you clear Scenarios and earn rewards may be a little unusual," White Line said. "Most people don't earn rewards by hunting down Evil Spirits. They explore the world where the Scenario takes place."

"The Hourglass is meant to give Players more time inside a Scenario, leaving them free to explore."

"Say your objective is to survive for ten days. After using the Hourglass, you could stay in the scenario for thirty. If its dangers aren't too pressing, that gives Players more chances to explore."

White Line set the "Stilled Hourglass" on the table and asked with a smile, "So, do you want it?"

"Of course. Name your price." Xia Lun gave a slight nod.

In both Scenarios so far, he had more or less fought his way through by force, killing each final boss himself. The most profitable time to explore was after the boss was dead.

For instance, if he had been able to spend another twelve days on Perilous Earth Island after landing there in his first scenario, he would have had a good chance of buying another Evil Flesh Codex in a place that attracted all kinds of people. Failing that, he could have used the time to train his Specialization and specialties.

White Line blinked. "And what would you like to pay with? Cash or Game Item?"

"Take a look for yourself." As he spoke, Xia Lun displayed his Information Panel to her.
