Flint Dragon

The Guilt Candle looked downright macabre. Its body was a shriveled hand with all five fingers severed.

Five pale candles had been thrust into the stumps. As the Ghost Holy Crusaders faded away, their silent flames from the Deep had gone out too.

Xia Lun focused on it, and information poured from the Guilt Candle like running water.

[Item Description: It is said that in the age of the Flint Dragons and the Saints, the Saint Tombdeep personally hanged traitors, cut off their left hands and all five fingers, and made candles with their own fat. These candles could extinguish light and weaken the Flint Dragons.]

[Item Effect: Light the Guilt Candle with Tombdeep's fire and sacrifice a great deal of Mental Health to summon an entire battle group of Ghost Holy Crusaders. They cannot be controlled, however. They remain under the command of Grand Inquisitor Avdan.]

[Special Note: This item cannot be taken out of the Scenario.]

Xia Lun blinked and looked away from the Guilt Candle.

The good news was that the Guilt Candle really could summon an undead army. If he learned necromancy, he could play the part of the Lich "Brigadier General" from the previous Scenario.

The bad news was that the undead army would not obey him. Xia Lun suspected that if he relit the Guilt Candle, the Ghost Holy Crusaders' first move would be to kill him.

The only way to put the Guilt Candle to good use was to find people who were enemies of both the Ghost Holy Crusaders and himself. Only then would summoning an undead army make sense.
