"The Thermal Power Station is going to explode?" the popcorn vendor repeated loudly. "Kid, that's not funny."
As he spoke, he waved hard at the staff patrolling nearby.
Three security guards carrying electric batons had already noticed something wrong. When they saw the vendor calling for help, they hurried over. The blonde college student's expression changed. Without hesitation, she pushed off the floor, spun, and braced a hand against the counter. She kicked off with her other foot, trying to vault out, but the vendor grabbed the back of her collar!
Her clothes stretched under his grip, and she faltered. The pistol in her trouser pocket slipped onto the counter. Clack.
The metal grip struck the countertop with a soft sound, but the area fell silent.
As if someone had pressed pause, every traveler nearby went quiet. They stared at the popcorn stand in terror. The atmosphere changed in an instant!
