Xia Lun lifted his cup and took a sip of warm coffee.

"Bring me the letter. I'd like to see it."

The butler nodded at once, but did not leave the room.

"What is it?" Xia Lun asked, puzzled.

The butler lowered his head and paused, as though choosing his words.

"Sir, the Psychologist sent two letters. The first is entirely open. In it, he explained why he was writing and instructed us not to open the second letter without permission. But under our security procedures, anyone who isn't on the whitelist poses a potential risk, and every letter must be inspected."

"Because of the warning in the first letter, the staff responsible didn't dare open the second one. Sir, I may be overstepping, but there was an incident in the Far Mountain Region not long ago involving anthrax powder sent through the mail, so..."

"You've done your job well, and your suggestion is a good one." Xia Lun set down his coffee cup and cut him off with a smile. "But there's really no problem with the Psychologist. From now on, you don't need to inspect anything he sends."

The butler nodded. "Sir, one more question. Are you having Coconut-Shell Fried Grouse Eggs for lunch again today?"

The smile froze on Xia Lun's face.

The butler bowed slightly, his expression unchanged. "I understand, sir."

Xia Lun silently took another sip of coffee. As he drank, he suddenly remembered the shadowy version of Abyssal Hand he had seen in the previous Scenario.

And speaking of Abyssal Hand, he could hardly avoid thinking of a certain food rich in collagen...

"Sea cucumber," Xia Lun said. "But don't stew it this time. Prepare it another way. Bring me the Doctor's letter this afternoon, and don't enter the study before lunch."

"Understood, sir."
