Bang!
Xia Lun drove the ball of his foot into the cracked stone bricks. His Achilles tendon pulled taut, and he shot forward as if he had teleported, leaving an afterimage behind him. The air tore around him, and a newly grown little white flower swayed in the wind between the bricks.
A few minutes later, Xia Lun rushed back to Slave Square. By the time he reached it, the battle between the Cultists and the Unassigned had ended.
For some reason, as life filled the city once more, the frenzied Unassigned lost their will to fight. Most fled underground, while a few surrendered.
Xia Lun ran past the prisoners kneeling on the ground and hurried over to White Line with the Deer of Abundance's Head.
White Line was sitting on a crate, hugging her knees and staring into space. Beside her, people had resumed loading supplies for the front onto the convoy. She seemed to hear his footsteps and looked up sharply. When she saw Xia Lun, a smile came straight from the heart.
"Xia Lun!" She sprang to her feet, admiration shining in her dark eyes. "How on earth did you do it?"
Xia Lun was about to answer when another series of explosions sounded from the direction of the Green Wall.

"There's no time to explain." Xia Lun held out the Deer of Abundance's Head. "Take this. You won't have to worry about 'Little Death' anymore."
White Line took the deer head with both hands, looking bewildered.
"The Deer of Abundance's Head... a Legend-grade item?!" Her eyes widened. "Xia Lun, I didn't do anything. I... I don't have anything left that I could trade for a Legend-grade item."
