The wind rattled the window, making the old glass creak and shudder. Dim, murky sunlight fell across Xia Lun's face without offering any warmth.

Xia Lun drew a slow breath and used the airflow to sense the condition of his body again. He had barely begun when his hangover headache flared once more.

This time, Xia Lun did not gasp at the pain. He kept his breathing steady through deliberate control.

Time seemed to have reversed, but after his Swordsmanship Meditation, he had grown far more familiar with this frail, damaged, disabled body. His control over its functions had improved by leaps and bounds, and a mere hangover could no longer cloud his thinking.

He glanced at the clock on the wall. It was 12:32 p.m., almost exactly when he had entered this round of the Special Memory.

First, get the weapon.

Xia Lun made up his mind in an instant and wheeled himself over to the bookcase.

He pushed aside Four-Humor Circulation and Body Structure, reached inside, and closed his hand around the Crowbar's handle. Cold, solid metal met his grip.

Xia Lun laid the Crowbar across his knees, and his mood lifted at once. As it did, his thoughts grew clearer. He stroked the Crowbar while considering what had just happened.

Time reversed again. That makes two reversals so far, both just before the Serial Killer died.

Everything in the Special Memory happened to Proud Sun Hentont himself. In the original course of history, the Serial Killer must really have been able to reverse time.

But some things still don't add up. For one, Time Reversal couldn't possibly reach the sun in the sky. For another, the Serial Killer's fighting ability is clearly below that of a Secret Art Scholar with at least three points of Knowledge.
