A meteorite too?!
Xia Lun froze. He was about to warn the others when he noticed something strange about its trajectory.
A blazing white tail streaked straight across the night sky, but the meteorite was not headed for the crack Xia Lun had smashed through the dome. It slammed into the ruins of the collapsed Lighthouse instead!
Boom!
The entire Cavern shook as the meteorite struck. Fine gravel and wisps of Black Flame poured down like a waterfall, and the Manhunter, who had been so full of bravado moments ago, screamed.
"Holy shit! The Screenwriter's lost it! He's going to wipe us out with a meteorite!"
The ground shook violently. The Attendant and Aislin lost their balance and fell, while Roman and Carson both clutched their heads as blood ran from their noses.
"It's a Bioelectric Storm. I think the meteorite set it off..." Roman's teeth chattered, and her words came out slurred. "Ah, it hurts. It hurts..."
Xia Lun looked up at the vast cloud of dust thrown up by the impact, and a realization dawned on him.

The Nuo Ring Hour had not even been able to escape Xia Lun, but to the other survivors, it was unquestionably a superpowered Evil Spirit they could never defeat!
Once the Nuo Ring Hour dragged them into its sweet dreams, the survivors would be doomed. That clearly went against the Screenwriter's plans for the story. As far as Xia Lun could tell, the Screenwriter wanted them to obtain the key and head to the Sea Abyss.
To turn their impending defeat
