The night wind howled past. The fire near Stream Elder Bridge grew fiercer, and both banks had become a sea of flames. Fire surged upward like a blazing storm.
Thick smoke rolled toward them. Flames licked out of the scorching black clouds, and even from a distance, Xia Lun felt the temperature climbing.
"Primordial Epoch Yellow Heaven Venerable, we have to go!" Xuan Yan covered her mouth and coughed twice. "That man was the Manhunter. He can come back to life. If we don't leave now, he'll hold us up!"
