Saitama Arrives

A-City.

In a run-down restroom, KING clutched his pounding heart and kept taking deep breaths.

He had actually reached the vicinity of the God-level Monster some time ago, but seeing the battered S-Class Heroes in the video had still left him trembling.

As he watched his phone keep vibrating, KING nearly burst into tears.

"Please! Stop calling!" He was just an ordinary man whose heartbeat got a little too loud. Sending him against a monster even Tornado couldn't beat had to be a joke! He should never have come!

KING begged silently.

Just then, a man and a woman walked into the restroom.

"Baby! The world's about to end. We should enjoy ourselves while we can!"

"You're awful! How can you think about doing that at a time like this?"

"Heh, that's what makes it exciting. Wouldn't doing it before the world ends make it more memorable?"

With that, the man leered as he pulled the woman in a sexy dress into a stall.

But just as they were about to get down to business, the woman covered his mouth before he could kiss her.

"Wait. Listen. Do you hear something?"

The man's ardor cooled a little. He stopped and listened.

Gradually...

Thump! Thump! Thump! A tremendous heartbeat-like sound echoed in their ears. Confusion flickered across the man's face, but he wasn't about to give up when what he wanted was so close.

"Baby, ignore it. Maybe there's construction nearby."

"But it sounds like it's coming from inside this restroom!" The woman clearly didn't believe him.

"Heh, how could it be? This place is near the outskirts. Hardly anyone comes here even normally, much less now. Why worry about it?"

Unable to hold back any longer, he began kissing her passionately. But just as things heated up, the thumping grew
