Wei Xing and Chen Siwei met Zhong Yan in Hezhou and learned that Red Leaf City planned to attack the weakened Abyssal forces on Qixia Mountain using preserved Old Era missiles. They left after hearing his plan, and Zhong Yan concluded they had come for their own purposes and would not join the operation.

Meanwhile, Isaiah’s Hive Legion defeated the Azure Nether Abyss’s High-Rank Lords at great cost, celebrated its victory, and Lincon nearly finished his own task in Longwind City.

• Zhong Yan received word that the Blood Abyss had attacked Red Leaf City, abandoned his plan at Qixia Mountain, and ordered his forces to return.
• Chen Siwei reached Red Leaf City ahead of Zhong Yan, joined Wei Xing, and helped lead the Blood Demon Squad away after staging an attack that left no confirmed deaths.
