"Agreement?"

Malekith rested his right fist on his chin, and smiled indifferently, "My people rescued you from your prison. I have fulfilled my promise."

"Now it's your turn to keep your promise..."

"But...!" Loki was about to retort, full of resentment, but seeing Algrim standing behind Malekith looking at him with an unfriendly expression, as if he were about to rush up and snap his neck at the slightest provocation.

He could only take a deep breath and suppress all his dissatisfaction.

The next second, Loki smiled calmly and said, "Lord Malekith is right. I was able to regain my freedom thanks to the help of my Dark Elves allies..."

"Hmph~" Malekith scoffed at the word 'ally,' but he didn't bother to refute it.

Where is my Aether?

"My lord, you may not know this..." Loki sighed and said, " The Aether was sealed away by Odin, the King of Gods, and its location is extremely well-hidden."

"No one knows except Odin himself..."

Malekith's face instantly turned cold upon hearing this, and he angrily retorted, "Are you playing me?!"

"No, no, no! How could I dare to play a trick on you?" Loki shook his head and laughed, "Besides Odin himself, anyone who obtains the Gungnir, which represents the identity of the King of Gods, can also find the location where the Aether is sealed."

" Gungnir?" Malekith asked, frowning. "Where is it?"

Loki lowered his eyes and replied, " The Golden Palace Royal Hall, it is currently in the hands of Queen Frigga of Asgard."

Malekith slammed his hand on the armrest and stood up. He raised his hand and summoned, " Algrim."

Algrim knelt on one knee and respectfully replied, "My lord."

Malekith roared, "Take a squad of soldiers to the Golden Palace and bring Gungnir back to me at all costs!"

"Yes, sir!"

Algrim got up to leave, but as he turned around, he saw Loki.

"My lord, what should we do with this Asgard boy?"

Malekith waved his hand casually. "He's worthless now, do with him as you please."

"Thank you, my lord!" Algrim clenched his fist and grinned as he approached Loki.

Loki felt a chill run down his spine. He quickly took a few steps back and cried out urgently, "Lord Malekith, that's not what our agreement says!"

As Algrim approached, he taunted, "Foolish Asgardians..."

Loki's expression changed drastically; he immediately realized that he had lost his value in Malekith's eyes.

To survive, he must find a new reason to exist!

"Wait!" Loki called out, his mind racing as he reached out to stop him.

"Hahaha~ Give up struggling, you foul-mouthed brat!" Algrim strode forward, snarling, "I'll personally twist your head off and make it into a goblet!"

Unable to come up with a reason sufficient to sway Malekith, Loki changed tactics and turned his attention back to Algrim.

"Wait a minute, I still need it!"

"I can lead you infiltrating the Golden Palace Royal Hall without anyone noticing..."

"Think it over carefully, Lord Algrim!"

"It was I who led you to bypass all the Golden Palace Guard and successfully sneak out of the Golden Palace!"

Upon hearing this, Algrim slowed his pace.

Upon seeing this, Loki's spirits instantly lifted.

There's a chance!!!

He coughed lightly, then began, feigning modesty, "The warriors of the Dark Elves are all incredibly brave and valiant, truly admirable, but your people seem to be few in number..."

Unexpectedly, upon hearing this, a fierce glint flashed in Algrim's eyes, and he roared in Wrath, "Bastard! Who do you think this is all because of?!"

Loki's heart skipped a beat, and he immediately realized: Damn it, he had been careless and forgotten that the Dark Elves were in such a miserable state because Asgard was the culprit...

He dared not beat around the bush any longer and immediately stated bluntly, "Your forced entry into the Golden Palace will result in the sacrifice of many Dark Elf Warriors!"

Algrim remained unfazed, even declaring with arrogance, "For Lord Malekith, I fear no death!"

Loki froze, cursing inwardly: Fuck, I hate reckless bastards more than anything in my life!

Just then, Malekith, who had been observing coldly, suddenly spoke up, " Algrim, stop."

Algrim stopped and turned around.

"Grown ups?"

Malekith said calmly, "He's right. Forcing our way into the Golden Palace would result in heavy losses for us."

Algrim knelt on one knee, beat his chest, and bowed his head, saying, "My lord! We are not afraid of death!"

Inside the Mothership's command center, the other Dark Elf Warriors joined in, pounding their chests and shouting, "We are not afraid of death!"

Upon seeing this, Malekith slowly smiled.

"Warriors, the future of the Dark Elves depends on your survival."

"Let's do as Loki says."

" Algrim, keep an eye on him, don't let him pull any tricks."

Algrim nodded and replied, "Don't worry, sir! I'll keep an eye on him!"

Then he stood up, turned to Loki, and said sullenly, "You're smart, kid."

"For now, let's keep this clever head on your neck."

Algrim strode up to Loki, grabbed him by the neck, and lifted him up, carrying him outside.

His malicious laughter echoed in Loki's ears.

"Now I'm even more excited to see what the wine will taste like when made from a glass crafted with your brilliant mind!"

Hehehehe~

The low, guttural laugh sent a shiver down Loki's spine, chilling him to the bone.

Golden Palace Royal Hall, Queen Frigga sat on the throne of the God-King, listening to the messenger's report.

"Your Majesty, the invaders have been driven out of the Golden Palace, and the guards are organizing a counterattack."

"Please rest assured, we will not let any intruder escape!"

Frigga's face lit up with a timely smile of relief.

"Well done! The guards' bravery has not disappointed me."

Then, she waved her hand and said, "You may leave, Gundall. Continue to monitor the battle, and report to me immediately if anything changes."

"Yes, Your Majesty." The messenger Gundall, bowed and quickly left.

Once his figure disappeared, Queen Frigga breathed a sigh of relief, leaning back on the throne, her straight back instantly hunching over.

She frowned and murmured, "These invaders... seem to be the Dark Elves described in the ancient texts?"

"As expected of the Goddess of Wisdom in Asgard, you are always so intelligent and perceptive..."

The sudden sound startled Frigga.

She stood up abruptly and turned to look in the direction from which the sound came.

Loki?!

"It's me, Your Majesty."

Beside the palace wall, a Magic halo appeared, revealing a hidden doorway.

Loki pushed open the door and walked out, followed by Algrim and his men.
