Clone No. 1 inherited the Oath of Dark Flames armor and took the name Li Ze, becoming the master of the Mechanoid Profound Realm. After the mechanical life forms acknowledged him, he set out to bring Yan back.

• Yan awakened on the Creation Platform, explored it, and later returned with a cold, murderous demeanor.
• Yan tried to place the mechanical heart inside the black armor, but its barrier rejected her, so she bound the armor with chains and forced energy into the heart.
• Yan left the Creation Platform after declaring that the Mechanoid Profound Realm would belong to her.
• Clone No. 1 awoke with the armor fused to him, broke the chains, and placed the mechanical heart inside his chest.

Richard’s Clone Li Ze became an independent Alter Ego and raised Richard’s level to 110, while Richard and Li Ze helped Old Li reach the same level. After returning to Kamar-Taj, Richard learned that The Ancient One wanted him to inherit the title of Sorcerer Supreme.

• Li Ze told Richard he would not return to being his Clone, and Richard fused part of his Spirituality into Li Ze to make him independent.
• Li Ze transferred power to Richard, raising Richard from level 88 to level 110, and the two thanked each other for their help.
• Richard removed the Space Stone from Old Li, and he, Li Ze, and Mother of Source Star helped Old Li absorb her power of origin until he reached level 110.
• Li Ze left Source Star with Yan, Richard departed, and Mother of Source Star told Old Li that Source Star would be in his care.
• The Ancient One greeted Richard at Kamar-Taj and told him it was time to inherit the title of Sorcerer Supreme.

The Ancient One left Kamar-Taj on a multiverse vacation and appointed Richard to take charge, leaving him to manage the sorcerers and their duties. Richard sent Mordo to replace the sick Sorcerer Vladimir in London, while the Bifrost Spirit Mirror suddenly carried a call from Li Ze.

• The Ancient One told Richard that he was temporarily in charge of Kamar-Taj, then departed to visit friends in the Multiverse and left him the Eye of Agamotto to study.
• Richard summoned Kaecilius, Mordo, Hamir, Marcus, and Wong, explained The Ancient One’s absence, and gave Mordo a Bifrost Spirit Mirror for emergencies.
