Everyone left. Naruto kept his face expressionless, afraid he might laugh out loud otherwise. "Granny Tsunade, what is it?"
"Take a look at this. Remember, don't leak it. You can't tell anyone. This is top secret." Tsunade gave Naruto a special warning as she handed him a massive intelligence scroll.
The moment Naruto saw the familiar thing, he nearly failed to keep a straight face. That was right—this was the intelligence he had sent Jiraiya under the name Li Feiyu. The handwriting on it had been painstakingly copied from Awen's calligraphy. Preparing all this had been a real ordeal for him; with his usual handwriting, he would have been exposed long ago.
"Is all of this true? Pervy Sage, did you gather all this intelligence?" Naruto kept his eyes on the scroll and did not dare look at Jiraiya, afraid of giving himself away.
Yet everyone was utterly stunned by the news. No one paid any attention to Naruto.
Jiraiya said, "That Li Feiyu gave it to me. Nagato, Konan, even the abilities of the Rinnegan were specifically marked out. There's also Obito's Mangekyō Sharingan, as well as the true mastermind behind it all—Madara Uchiha!"
Kakashi's gaze dimmed. Thinking that Obito was still alive, and had even become like that, made him feel awful.
Tsunade pinched the bridge of her nose, looking deeply troubled. "Sigh, even more important is Itachi Uchiha's identity. He was actually an undercover agent. That old bastard Third Hokage actually left behind such a major problem. And Danzo never told me, the Hokage, about it either. He really doesn't take me seriously. What does he take me for?!"
Shizune cautiously asked, "Lady Tsunade, should we summon Danzo and ask him about Itachi Uchiha? If it's true, then Konoha owes him far too much..."
