Naruto happily hummed a little tune. Sasuke's troubles had all been resolved now. Once Danzo was dead, the Fourth Shinobi War was over, and the conflict on Obito's side was settled, everything would finally be done.
"Hmph! This proves one thing—Sasuke really is smarter than you!" Kurama's jab made Naruto lose it at once.
Naruto was unhappy. "Hey, Kurama, what are you talking about?!"
"I mean exactly what I said!" Kurama, that troublemaking fox, laughed so hard he sprawled on the floor.
Kushina asked, "Kurama, Naruto, what are you two talking about? You seem awfully animated."
"We were discussing which of Naruto and Sasuke has courage, and which has a sword's heart..." Kurama could not hold it in any longer. With a snort, he burst out laughing and pounded the ground.
"Hey, Kurama, don't think I didn't catch the hidden meaning in that! What are you implying? Sasuke and I are completely innocent! What kind of nonsense are you imagining?" Naruto demanded furiously.
Kushina and Minato Namikaze could not make sense of the thought processes of this boy and fox, but Kurama was laughing so happily that it had to be genuinely amusing.
Kurama continued, "What else could I mean? Look at you and Sasuke. Sasuke wears the Sword of Kusanagi—doesn't that fit the lyric about roaming the world with a sword in hand? And you are here in Konoha, your tenderness filling the hills, so... hehehe..."
Halfway through, Kurama could not help laughing aloud. "So, tell me—which one of you has courage, and which one has a sword's heart?
