Minato Namikaze ultimately attended the Five Kage Summit, with Kakashi and Genma Shiranui serving as his guards. The three of them set off in grand fashion.

Tsunade said, "Minato, I'm leaving this to you. Don't worry about the village—I'll guard it."
Tobirama Senju snorted. "Hmph, Fourth. Don't tarnish Konoha's reputation."
Hashirama Senju stretched out a hand, watching Minato Namikaze and the others leave with an envious expression. His gaze lingered several times on the words "Fourth Hokage" on Minato Namikaze's robes before he said, "Actually, I want to go more!"
"Shut up, Big Brother. You'll just start banging your head on the ground again when the time comes, won't you?" Tobirama Senju's words left Hashirama Senju squatting miserably to the side.
The crowd dispersed. On the road, Hanabi Hyuga was nowhere near as shy as her sister. She jogged over just as Kushina was about to speak with Naruto, cutting her off and passing right in front of her. Reaching Naruto's side, Hanabi gently tugged on him and asked, "Is the war about to begin?"
"Yeah..." Naruto said with a smile. "This war is different from the previous ones. This time, the ninja of all Five Great Nations have united to fight against Akatsuki."
"Akatsuki's target is Kurama, isn't it? Hmph, I'll protect you too when the time comes, dead last!" Hanabi Hyuga patted her newly developed chest and spoke proudly to Naruto.
