At the Rōran Ruins, everyone set up camp to weather the desert storm. Though it was still daytime, not even a trace of light could be seen in the sky.
Inside a Wood Release house created by Hashirama Senju, Hanabi Hyuga leaned against the window, staring wide-eyed at the scene outside. She called to Naruto, "Dead Last, have you ever seen anything like this?"
Naruto walked over and said, "Yeah, I have. I once came through the Land of Wind and ran into a sandstorm even worse than this. Pervy Sage and I hid in a cave for an entire day, but this storm probably won't last that long. It'll be gone soon."
Hanabi Hyuga said excitedly, "This is my first time seeing a desert like this. When I get back, I have to tell my sister and Sister Natsu about it."
"Hey, Dead Last, what if this was supposedly just a mission to deal with Mukade, but it was actually an S-rank dangerous mission behind the scenes? Then we run into an even scarier enemy, go through adventures, training, and growth, and finally get a happy ending..." Hanabi Hyuga asked expectantly, recalling the stories Naruto had told her before.
Naruto spread his hands and laughed. "How could that happen, Hanabi? First Hokage and Second Hokage came along this time, not to mention me. Even if Masked Man brought every White Zetsu he had, they still wouldn't be enough for us. Just relax. No matter what scheme they're plotting, they won't succeed in the end."
Even if Otsutsuki Toneri came down from the moon with the Tenseigan, I wouldn't be afraid of him... Naruto thought to himself. His training had not fallen behind in the slightest. His current strength was probably even greater than his former self during that movie.
