Hanabi Hyuga pinched her nose and lightly brushed away the dust. "Kurenai-sensei, were all these oil paintings painted by Yakumo Kurama?"
"Yes. Yakumo was exceptionally talented at painting." Kurenai Yuhi nodded.
Naruto entered Six Paths Mode and carefully sensed the surroundings. Kaguya also activated her Byakugan, but what she could see differed from what Hinata Hyuga and Hanabi Hyuga could see.
They carefully searched every inch inside and outside Hill Mountain Manor. There was no unusual chakra and no clues to be found, though there were quite a lot of oil paintings.
"How could a girl vanish without a trace?" Naruto wore a puzzled expression.
Suddenly, a hand landed on Naruto's shoulder, startling him so badly that he cried out, "Ah!"
Hanabi Hyuga's lips twitched. Naruto was actually this afraid of ghosts. He was clearly powerful enough to activate Six Paths Mode, yet he was still so timid.
Naruto patted his chest. "You scared me to death, Hanabi! What are you doing? Don't scare people like that!"
"Sorry, Naruto. Everyone, take a look. There seems to be something wrong with this oil painting."
Hanabi Hyuga called everyone over and led them into a bedroom.
"This was Yakumo's painting room!" Kurenai Yuhi said.
Most of the oil paintings depicted landscapes. Some were portraits, but landscapes made up the majority.
Hanabi Hyuga pointed to an oil painting of a black vortex. "Naruto, this painting is of a black hole, right?"
Naruto nodded. "Yeah. What about it? Didn't we look at this one already? Is there something wrong with it?"
"There's nothing wrong with the painting, but there's something wrong with the frame. The paper is also different from the other paintings. This was painted on parchment." Hanabi Hyuga addressed everyone.
Everyone froze, then stepped forward to carefully examine the black hole painting.
