Background / History

Before Qi Chao became his guardian, Lan Luo was severely neglected and abused by his previous master. He went a week without Energy Stones, was confined to a storage room or cage, owned only one outfit, and bore cracks on his hand and foot from repeated violence. Conditioned to accept mistreatment, he once retrieved a whip and offered himself for punishment when Qi Chao noticed his injuries. 4 5 6

Qi Chao began treating Lan Luo as his child: preparing accessible Energy Stone meals, giving him a bedroom beside his own, buying him clothes, and teaching him that he may express pain and defend himself.
