I rewrote this ending several times.
At first, I wanted the three of them to fight the Weird Ancestors to the death.
But they would die as well, then advance to Above Sacrificial Dao, destroy the Plateau, and revive everyone.
After thinking it over, Slow Step was writing fanfiction, so there was no need to make it so tragic.
So I changed it to the current ending. They had already crossed over, so things should be lighter. That was why I changed it this way.
It was not without basis, either. In the original ending, the two Heavenly Emperors, Desolate and Ye, fought ten opponents and killed six of them.
In this ending, three fought nine, with a sneak attack on top of that. There were no minor enemies left, so a decisive victory was perfectly reasonable, right?

[The Origin of This Book]
The reason was that Slow Step enjoyed reading Shrouding the Heavens fanfiction. Around that time, the many-children-many-blessings wife-marrying genre was extremely popular. Slow Step read some of it, but it did not feel satisfying enough, and wanted to see a many-children-many-blessings Shrouding the Heavens fanfic.
As a result, most Shrouding the Heavens fanfics were about monks, and there were far too few with multiple female leads.
It was very disappointing.
Then this book came into being. If no one else was writing it, then I would.
I had zero writing experience, so I never imagined from the beginning that it could achieve any success.
I was just writing for fun.
