The Buddhist School had three origins in this world.
Unlike the Mystic Gate, which had received a visit from a wisp of the Dao Ancestor's true intent. He had founded its lineage, and Mysterious Capital Palace had risen alongside the Five Directions and Five Emperors, remaking heaven and earth and exterminating the Demon Gods. What a mighty undertaking it had been.
The first origin lay in the age of the Demon Gods' rule, when Dao and Virtue had been turned upside down, all living beings hung suspended, and countless humans suffered beyond endurance with no hope of escape. In that time, some had turned their gaze inward and, seeking to eliminate "suffering," devised the Four Noble Truths of suffering, its origin, its cessation, and the path.
Later, another great figure had awakened without a teacher beneath the Bodhi tree. He created the "Twelve Links of Dependent Origination," attained Nirvana, and gained the fruit of undying longevity.
Because he had been the first of the Buddhist School in this world and had awakened beneath the Bodhi tree, he was known as the "Bodhi Founding Buddha."
Afterward, other great figures of the Buddhist School had come from the Outer Void to spread their teachings. They brought the "Middle Way Mahayana Teaching" and blended it with this world's traditions, giving the Western Heaven Buddha Realm its first outline.
By the time disaster struck the Ancient Heavenly Court, many of its leading figures had crossed west into the Buddha Realm. From this came the Vajrayana and esoteric traditions, along with changes in doctrine and in the figures who held sway within the Buddha Realm.
The full story was beyond any outsider's knowledge.
Yet in today's Western Heaven Buddha Realm, the dominant tradition was the "Mahayana Teaching" brought by those later great figures from beyond
