Amon adjusted his crystal-carved Monocle, the corner of his mouth curling upward. He said nothing, merely stared at himself, whose skin was as clear and fair as glazed glass.
He seemed to be sizing her up—or perhaps weighing what to say.
"Excuse me a moment." Su Lin covered his mouth and walked into the air beside him, his face expressionless.
A few seconds later, he came back out clutching his stomach and glanced impassively at the two of them.
Amon smiled. "Gender means nothing to me, but you seem a little different from the original me."
"Love can change a person, even a Mythological Creature." A Meng clasped her hands behind her back like a lively young girl.
"You can take me back, of course, but I should warn you: if you don't accept my memories, you won't get any of the power I've gathered during this time."
