The next day, Zhang Jun drove to the training center.
In Zheng Xing's stable, River Moon had just finished training and was quietly eating hay in his stall.
When he saw Zhang Jun come in, he raised his head, his ears twitching as he let out a joyful neigh.
Zhang Jun walked over with a smile and stroked his forehead and lips. "Training's been tough lately."
River Moon rubbed his pink nose against Zhang Jun's hand and skillfully nudged at his coat pocket.
Zhang Jun didn't know whether to laugh or cry. He took out some treats and fed them to him piece by piece. "You lot, every single one of you, have been led astray by Shadow Hunter."
Zheng Xing came out of the meeting room with a stack of documents in hand. "Brother Jun, you've come at just the right time. The full entry list for Zhejiang Province's Huaxia Breeders' Cup Classic is out."
The Huaxia Breeders' Cup Series was the highest-level event in Huaxia's regional horse racing. Since it mainly featured dirt races, it borrowed the name of the world's premier dirt-racing event, the U.S. Breeders' Cup Series, and was also known as the Breeders' Cup Series.
Racecourses in every region held a Breeders' Series event during the second or third week of October: forty-nine CN1 races, one hundred and eight CN2 races, and one hundred and seventy-six CN3 races, for a total of three hundred and thirty-three races. All of them only allowed racehorses bred in their respective provinces to enter.
Zhejiang Province's CN1 race was originally supposed to be held in October as well, but Lin'an Racecourse happened to be undergoing renovations at the time, so it was moved to December.
Strictly speaking, River Moon's ability wasn't enough for him to enter a CN1 event
