The enormous qilin transformed into a middle-aged man with blue hair draped over his shoulders and purple eyes as sharp as heavenly blades. He grasped the Qilin Staff forged from eternal blue gold.
"It's... the Qilin Ancient Emperor! To think he's still alive!" someone cried in disbelief.
"Even Heavenly Venerables from the Mythological Era have survived to this day. It's hardly surprising that the Qilin Ancient Emperor could live on as well," another remarked.
By now, people understood that those lurking within these forbidden zones might well be the ancient emperors and Great Emperors of past eras. They simply did not know how these figures had survived.
