Even the Immortal Domain, which shared the same roots, found the Nine Heavens and Ten Earths something of an eyesore.

Their former little brother was gradually rising to stand shoulder to shoulder with them. Unable to tolerate this, they went with the current, calling a truce with the Foreign Land so it could teach their little brother a proper lesson.

Originally, the Foreign Land had not intended to fight the Nine Heavens to the death. It had only wanted to wear them down. After all, even the Foreign Land would have to pay a horrific price to destroy the Nine Heavens outright, and some Immortal Kings would inevitably perish.

Both the Foreign Land and the Immortal Domain had thought this way. But news of a Rotten Wooden Chest ignited the Foreign Land's desire. The simple words "king-breaking, emperor-ascending" drew out almost its entire force, and it ultimately shattered the Nine Heavens. The Immortal Domain was dumbfounded too, and its deployment of troops was delayed by some of its own sordid affairs.

The Nine Heavens and Ten Earths, that vast sanctuary of cultivation, transformed into a weapon of war and mobilized completely.

Streaks of light flew out of immortal blessed lands and True Immortal grotto-heavens. There were Supreme Beings and True Immortals, but far more were cultivators below the Supreme Being realm-well over ten billion. Supreme Beings alone numbered in the millions, and there were several thousand True Immortals, though Quasi-Immortal Kings were relatively rare.

With a million Supreme Beings as soldiers, True Immortals as generals, and Peak Immortal Kings commanding them, they all rushed toward the Border Desolate Emperor Pass. These were merely the forces stationed in the Border Wasteland; the many immortal lands and great clans in the Nine Heavens and Ten Earths' heartland had yet to move.
