On the street, Mrs Weasley gripped Fred and George by the ears with each hand and fiercely began berating the two troublemakers.

"Three hours! It took me a full three hours to realize you were missing and find you! You've gotten bold, haven't you? How many times have I told you to stay away from Knockturn Alley? Yet you actually snuck in there! If your father finds out, he'll whip both your backsides with his belt!"

Hauled around like chicks, the two brothers instantly lost all their previous high spirits. To save himself, Fred immediately shifted the blame onto Roy.

"It was Roy! Roy went into Knockturn Alley! We only followed him in because we were afraid he'd get lost!"

"That's right, Mum! No matter how mischievous we are, we'd never dare go into Knockturn Alley. We only went in to save Roy!" George, whose ear was being tugged by Mrs Weasley's other hand, threw all the blame onto Roy without hesitation.

Hearing the twins' explanation, Mrs Weasley released them and sternly scrutinized Fred and George as they grimaced in pain. Then she turned to Roy and questioned him in a relatively gentler tone.

"Roy, where are your guardians? Knockturn Alley is no place for young wizards like you."

Fred and George hid behind Mrs Weasley and gestured wildly at Roy, signaling him not to give them away. Watching them wiggle their eyebrows and make faces, Roy helplessly wanted to cover his face.

"Sorry, Mrs Weasley. I... I'm an orphan, and I'm not familiar with this place. You misunderstood Fred and George. It's all because I didn't know the way. I only wanted to buy some cheaper books to read."

Roy vividly put on an orphan's look of inferiority and helplessness, while also pleading on the brothers' behalf.

Seeing Roy's pitiful act, Mrs Weasley immediately softened and began comforting him in an exceptionally gentle voice.

"You poor child. Thank goodness none of you were hurt." Then she turned to Fred and George behind her, pulled them both into her arms, and comforted the brothers gently.

"Well done, Fred and George. You haven't let down the teachings your father and I have given you all these years. I'm proud of you."

Held in Mrs Weasley's embrace, Fred and George saw Roy raise both middle fingers at them from behind her. His lips seemed to be silently saying something. Though they did not understand lip-reading, the brothers did not need to think hard to know it was mockery.

Faced with Mrs Weasley's enthusiasm, Roy had to put in considerable effort before finally declining her invitation to eat dinner at The Burrow.

After promising to visit another time, Roy said goodbye to Mrs Weasley and the twins, who were heading off to buy wands. Before leaving, Roy decided to take a look at Flourish and Blotts.

"Come to think of it, I should split the money we took from that dark wizard with Fred and the others." Roy weighed the wallet full of Galleons in his hand. It was even heavier than before.

"Forget it. I'll make it up to them when I get the chance."

Roy pushed open the doors of Flourish and Blotts, the largest bookstore in Britain's wizarding world.

He had not had the chance to visit before, and on his first visit, the atmosphere of Flourish and Blotts immediately caught Roy's attention.

The store was spacious, its towering bookshelves crammed with all kinds of strange books. The faintly damp scent of old paper mixed with ink, and Roy could smell knowledge in the air.

It was the back-to-school season, so the shop was extremely noisy. The short, stout middle-aged manager was busy receiving a large number of parents and students who had come to buy textbooks.

Ignoring the noisy surroundings, Roy wandered among the bookshelves packed with every kind of book, plundering this treasure trove of knowledge.

"Apparition: From Beginner to Mastery. Interesting. If I can learn teleportation, I won't need to spend so long riding in a car whenever I come to Diagon Alley."

"This one's interesting too. Brew Your Own Philosopher's Stone. Is it about alchemy? What exactly is a Philosopher's Stone?"

Roy leaned directly against a shelf and began reading the books that interested him. The noisy surroundings seemed utterly unable to affect him. It was not until the sun sank below the horizon and darkness covered Diagon Alley, until the once bustling bookstore had become quiet and empty, that the overworked clerks and manager noticed Roy immersed in his books.

Roy clearly looked like someone eager to learn, so neither the clerks nor the manager took the initiative to disturb him. They simply went quietly about their work.

Only after he closed the Advanced Transfiguration book in his hands and returned it to the shelf did he realize how late it was. There were no customers left in the once-lively store.

Picking out several books that interested him and contained things he still did not understand, Roy went to the counter to buy them. The manager, busy sorting through the accounts, looked up and noticed him.

"Thirteen Galleons in total. I'll wrap them for you."

A clerk came over to wrap Roy's books in kraft paper. As he wrapped them, he spoke to Roy.

"A child your age who reads so seriously... it seems Ravenclaw is about to welcome another outstanding young wizard."

"Haha, maybe. Who knows?" Roy casually brushed him off, paid, and left with the books.

After greeting Tom, Roy took the Underground back to the orphanage. By the time he stepped through its gates, the children had already finished dinner. Passing the activity room beside the hall, Roy glanced inside.

Most of the children were sitting on little stools after dinner, watching a television drama. What was currently airing was Blackadder the Fourth, starring Rowan Atkinson.

In 1989, the world-famous Mr Bean had not yet been created, but Rowan Atkinson was already a world-renowned comedian and the orphanage children's favorite actor. Whenever a comedy starring Rowan Atkinson aired on television, the most children gathered in front of the screen.

Roy put the supplies he had brought out that day in his room, then went downstairs. Without disturbing the children who were watching intently, he quietly sat at the back of the activity room. Today's episode was the final episode of Blackadder. Roy had never watched such an old show before, but he found it quite interesting on his first viewing.

Mia, who normally did not like watching television, was also sitting at the back of the activity room today. It seemed even Mia liked Mr Bean's performances.

Mia noticed Roy had returned, but she continued staring fixedly at the television ahead. She did not seem surprised that Roy had disappeared for the day.

Even so, Mia took several packets of biscuits from her pocket and casually handed them to Roy.

"You didn't eat dinner, did you? I saved these for you."

Taking Mia's biscuits, Roy tore open a packet and began chewing. Although he had never liked the dry biscuits handed out by the orphanage, Mia's concern still sent a trace of warmth through his heart.

Honestly, as someone who had served in the military, Roy found himself less and less able to laugh as he watched. When the last few soldiers in the trench finally charged onto the battlefield together through a hail of bullets, the Blackadder series came to an end.

After the show ended, most of the children were amused by Mr Bean's funny performance. But Roy only felt a knot in his chest after watching it. It seemed the core of comedy really was tragedy.

"What's wrong? Aren't you happy?" The attentive Mia sensed that Roy was not in a good mood.

Roy reached out and rubbed Mia's head, and his trademark smile returned to his face.

"I'm fine. This show just reminded me of a tragic film I watched before."

"Roy, I think you look a lot like Blackadder."

Mia studied Roy's face carefully and spoke to him seriously.

"What? Am I really that ugly? Why are you insulting me?"

Roy was left somewhat speechless by Mia's words. He was at least a fairly handsome young man. His features were not distorted enough to look like Mr Bean's, were they?

"No, I mean that seeing your face makes me want to laugh too. Maybe you should become a comedian as well." Mia explained very seriously.

"Alright, alright. Go to bed early, and remember to take your medicine before sleeping."

Roy reminded Mia of a few things before heading upstairs to his room.

Returning to his room and closing the door, Roy stretched lazily.

"I've been busy all day. I'm exhausted."

After washing up simply, he glanced at the things he had brought back that day and decided to sort through his gains tomorrow. Before going to bed, Roy took out a mirror and carefully examined his face.

"I'm obviously this handsome, yet she insists I look like Mr Bean."

Lying on the bed with his eyes closed, Roy's mind was still lingering over the plot of Blackadder. Before he knew it, he fell into a dream. In that dream, Roy returned to that land once more.

"Don't worry. I'll bring you all home—"

In his sleep, Roy's face occasionally turned serious, and he muttered something indistinctly.

"This time, I definitely will."

In his dream, Roy returned to his hometown after coming down from the battlefield. Holding his adorable daughter in his arms, tears could not help flowing from his eyes.
