Black Cat fed on energy.

To quietly digest the enormous energy source it had obtained from Lin Feng, it had deliberately burrowed deep, deep underground.

Digesting it here meant it would not be disturbed.

The Infinity Stones contained far too much energy.

Under normal circumstances, Black Cat would need over a year to digest most of it.

But while asleep, it needed only a little over half a year.

Black Cat planned to sleep for a month, then wake up for a month.

That way, it would not delay its energy absorption and could still come out for a stroll.

As a cat, wandering around everywhere was an obsession it could not let go of.

Yet it had not been asleep for long before it was awakened by the noise.

The little underground nest it had dug suddenly began to shake for no apparent reason.

Black Cat raised its head blankly and looked upward.

The vibrations grew stronger and stronger, while the humming noise became louder and louder.

Black Cat got up, wanting to see what was going on.

Suddenly, dense cracks appeared across the wall of the cave above its head under the shaking.

Then, a huge hole broke open.

A massive drill bit glinting with a dark sheen fell through it.

Ding!

Bzzzz~

The drill bit landed squarely on Black Cat's head.

Black Cat froze. It only felt its head sink before the drill bit began spinning wildly.

Bzzzz...

Screeech...

Drill Man had faithfully obeyed the leader's orders. He did not care what he had drilled into; he simply drilled with all his might, risking his life!

The drill bit was hard, but Black Cat's head was harder.

In their fierce clash, bright sparks actually flew from where the drill bit met the cat's forehead!
