Background

Martina was raised in an apocalypse-ravaged world ruled by Skynet and the Black Robes. The woman who found her as a baby became her adoptive mother and raised her through severe hardship. Martina joined the Survivor Guard Army, received combat training, and claims to have defeated a T-1000 Terminator. 252 265

She initially believed herself to be an ordinary carbon-based human. Cybertron’s systems could not classify her, however, and she proved unexpectedly unaffected by a planet with six to seven times Blue Star’s gravity, extreme cold, and no apparent oxygen. 250 252

Optimus Prime later revealed that she was a portion separated from the AllSpark. When she fused with it, she inherited its knowledge and became the AllSpark’s living humanoid form, forcing her to confront the painful realization that the being she called “Mom” was also herself. 256 260

Because her newly awakened power threatened to erupt catastrophically, Martina had to leave her adoptive family and travel with Lin Feng to the Marvel universe. Tony Stark secured her legal identity, schooling, and an energy suppressor disguised as a bracelet. 265 277
