Martina had yet to process the news when she saw Lin Jili float into the air.
"They're too great a threat to Blue Star. I'm going to wipe them out!" A vast blue glow had already spread across Lin Jili's eyes.
"Wait, wait, wait!" Martina jumped in fright and hurriedly pulled Lin Jili back down.
"At a time like this, shouldn't we notify Lin Feng?"
Martina took out a Distress Beacon. Everyone in her family had one that Lin Feng had given them.
The light faded from Lin Jili's eyes, and she looked somewhat puzzled.
"I can easily deal with them myself. Why do we need to find Lin Feng?" Lin Jili did not understand.
"Uh..." Martina froze again.
That actually made some sense?
Patting her chest, Lin Jili continued, "Don't forget, I'm the Universe Emperor!"
"Now that someone's targeting us, of course we should take the initiative and destroy them!"
"Wasn't that what the TV show we watched yesterday was about?"
The two kids had just watched a sci-fi movie yesterday. It was roughly about a comet from outer space that threatened Blue Star.
Blue Star's people, burdened with a tremendous mission, sent several astronauts carrying bombs to destroy the comet and save the planet.
And at that moment, Martina finally noticed the excitement in Lin Jili's eyes.
She swallowed hard. For the first time, she realized that Lin Jili was even bolder than she was!
"Will you come with me, my dearest friend, my partner, Mechanical Overlord?" Lin Jili solemnly extended a hand in invitation.
The whole scene, however, looked unbearably cringey.
Martina's breathing quickened.
Well, that was a very tempting invitation.
That movie they had watched yesterday really had gotten their blood pumping.
Last night, the two of them had even acted out a little scenario in
