"Confused?" Lin Feng asked with a smile.
Shanhai nodded. How could he not be?
"Good. I'm confused too," Lin Feng said.
"You and the clone on Krypton are different from all the others."
"I noticed that a long time ago."
"Different? How?" Shanhai didn't understand.
Lin Feng thought for a moment.
"How about this? I'll make another clone, and you'll see for yourself!"
Lin Feng waved a hand, and a clone that looked just like him appeared before them.
"Talk to him and you'll understand." Lin Feng patted Shanhai on the shoulder, leaving him to test it himself.
Lin Feng doubted he could explain it clearly. It would be easier for Shanhai to get a feel for the difference by speaking to the clone.
With that settled, Lin Feng found a place to sit and rest.
Five minutes later, Shanhai returned, deep in thought.
"Well? Can you tell how he's different from you two?" Lin Feng asked.
Now that they were done talking, Lin Feng waved a hand and recalled the ordinary clone.

After a moment, he said, "Compared to us, that clone is more like a simple puppet."
"He's strong, and he can hold a conversation, but it feels like something's missing."
Shanhai rubbed his chin, trying to pin down what it was.

"Their abilities are almost entirely fixed. They're only as strong as I make them."
"But you and the one on Krypton seem to be the only ones who can establish an energy channel with me and draw on my power to fight."
