Lin Feng rolled his eyes at Shanhai.
"I could make you disappear with a single thought. If I wanted to silence you, why would I tell you any of this?"
"Heh." Shanhai laughed too.
"I'm just joking."
Of course he knew his original would never silence him. They were part of the same being; there was no need to question his loyalty.
It was like a person worrying that an organ in their own body might betray them.
"All right. You're different from the other clones, and that makes me a little uneasy, but I suppose it doesn't really matter. Anyway, what are you getting at?" Shanhai steered the conversation back on track.
"What I'm getting at is that because you're different from the other clones, you're destined to do something different." Lin Feng grinned.
"And on this planet, there's something only a clone like you can do!"
Shanhai leaned back. "Exploit yourself?"
"Uh..." Lin Feng scratched his head. Rather than answer, he pointed into the distance.
"Look at those souls..."
There was no telling how vast the Death Realm was, or how many souls it held.
And Hela's Death Realm apparently contained souls from more than one universe.
"You mean?" Shanhai's eyes lit up. He seemed to have guessed what his original meant.
"Exactly!" Lin Feng smiled.
"There are countless souls here!"
"And some of them committed terrible evils. Wouldn't they make the perfect research subjects?"
"Vile people in soul form... They would make good test subjects."
"Find a way to give them the same cloning ability we have, and see what happens!" Lin Feng said gravely.
Shanhai clicked his tongue.
"So that's what you were thinking."
"But I don't know what Hela did. These souls aren't in the right state..."
Even after Hela's death, the souls remained dazed
