They might have been enemies, but Diona had no means of taking on the three brothers herself.
Shanhai did not seem like a fool. Even if he had taken a liking to Diona, he would not rashly attack the brothers just because she said a few words.
Talking to Diona was far more likely to yield useful information than talking to Shanhai!
They had not openly fallen out yet, so Diona probably did not know about the anonymous message he had received.
That could work! Devent immediately tried to contact Diona!
A few seconds later, Devent fell silent...
"What is it?" Joseph asked. The look on Devent's face gave him an inkling.
"Same as Shanhai. I can't reach her, and she's blocked all communications..."
What the hell!
Joseph frowned and tried contacting her himself.
A few seconds later, he got the same result as Devent...
"I'll try locating her with my access privileges!"
Unwilling to give up, Joseph opened his terminal again.
Diona had transferred to the Fifth Faction, but she was still officially a member of the Auxiliary Group.
Joseph could use his privileges to find her approximate location.
But soon, Joseph froze.
Several words appeared on his terminal: Unable to locate Diona.
"What the hell? Unable to locate her?!" Joseph's voice rose.
"You've got to be kidding me! Even a faction leader can't locate her??"

Joseph looked more closely at the message.
It said unable to locate, not insufficient privileges to locate!
That was a crucial difference!
It meant the problem was not Joseph's authority. Something had happened on Diona's end.
Usually, there were only two possibilities.
Either Diona was carrying out a core mission, or she had used some special means to hide her terminal's location.
Neither possibility was good news
