Across Time

Old Captain America emerged from the small grove, looked around, then walked toward Lu Qi and the others.

"You're... Steve? How is that possible? Aren't you...?"

Howard could hardly believe his eyes. Hadn't they said the captain had flown Hydra's bomber straight into the Antarctic glacier? Why was he standing here now?

A smile appeared on Steve's face. Since Howard would also be brought into the future by Lu Qi and the others, there was no need for him to hide anymore!

"I am Steve, but perhaps not quite the one you know. I came from another timeline, at a point roughly thirty years after this world's present."

"Another timeline? My God..."

Howard had only just learned that time travel was possible, and now he heard news that could shock the entire scientific community. For a moment, he stared at Steve in utter disbelief.

Maria no longer wanted to mind her science-obsessed husband. Instead, she recalled what Steve had just said.

"Lu Qi and Tony, are those your names?"

Tony helplessly rubbed his forehead, while Lu Qi hurriedly nodded.

"That's right. I'm Lu Qi, and he's Tony."

"Oh!" Maria nodded in understanding, then turned to Tony with a smile.

"I never expected you to have the exact same name as my son. What a coincidence. Do you know Tony too?"
