Background / History

Lu Chen created the Three Lives Gate after the Dragon-Han conflict brought refugees, wounded soldiers, rogue cultivators, and possible Demon Cult infiltrators to Dragon-Suppressing Pass. The Book of Cause and Effect and the Bureau of Cause and Effect could no longer screen everyone reliably, especially after Youdu bypassed Guixu’s defenses with a Demon Shadow Talisman. The gate was designed as a mandatory entrance that would make Guixu’s rules enforceable 47.

Construction lasted five hundred years. Lan Shuang supervised the project, Ancestor Xuan Jia established its foundation, Lin Yue supplied the earth-vein support of Mysterious Peak Mountain, Lady Mingzhu provided Sea-Calming Water Jade, Feng Li purified its fire balefulness, Ao Lie contributed the aura of the Ancestral Dragon’s Reverse Scale, and the Sea Devourer Beast Spirit was assigned to consume resentment produced during screening 47.

The completed structure transformed Guixu from a hidden refuge into an organized sanctuary.
