As the Cloud Light Lord traded banter with the bald man, Lin Xin carefully observed this so-called Star Chant Sect branch.

White Nine Star lay in an enormous deep sea within the Second Heaven Realm. What was exposed to the void here was merely a small portion of most of its body.

It was a genuine colossal dead star, as large as several Human Realms.

And this palace within the star's core was comparable in area to some of the enormous cities Lin Xin had seen before. Vast beyond measure.

What surprised him most was that every corner of the palace was covered by a thin layer of burning Purification Flame.

He followed behind the Cloud Light Lord as the bald man led them onward through the broad white corridor.

The three did not walk quickly, yet their speed was astonishing. In just a few steps, they arrived at a magnificent palace built around a milky-white fountain.

There was no one else in the palace, only a white-haired old man in a long robe, holding a staff.

The old man's eyes were equally snowy white. Hearing the movement, he raised his head from afar and looked toward him.

"Welcome, young friend."

The old man revealed a faint smile.

"I have waited a long time for you, waiting all along for this moment when you and I would meet."

The burly man stopped the Cloud Light Lord, who wanted to approach, and jerked his chin toward the right.
