A group of people rushed at Lin Xin in a frenzy, scattering talisman water, black ash, and other such things from their hands. Two burly women even carried bowls of black dog's blood and splashed it straight at him.
With a slight flicker, Lin Xin wordlessly dodged their charge and reached a corner of the ruined temple in the blink of an eye.
The group pounced on empty air, but all their things struck the four motionless people instead.
The firelight immediately dimmed, but some of the group had brought torches, so there was still light.
