Lin Xin lay flat as he sped forward through a dark tunnel, an inexplicable pulling force carrying him onward without pause.

The tunnel resembled the intestinal tract of some creature of darkness. Its inner walls were layered with folds that trembled and contracted to a steady rhythm.

After flying through countless twists and turns for quite a while, he finally saw a faint glimmer ahead—a pale red glow.

Lin Xin widened his eyes, trying to see what lay at the exit. Yet all that entered his vision was a hazy wash of light red. He also caught a faint scent of sulfur.

In the distance, a gigantic volcano was slowly erupting. Red flames shot into the sky from its summit from time to time, while vast quantities of golden-red magma overflowed down its slopes in golden streams.

This was a dark, scorching plain. The uneven low hills were covered in vast numbers of gray thorny vines, and boiling magma lakes could occasionally be found in certain places.
