Two days later, at Navy Headquarters Marineford,

"Crocodile left Alabasta?"

Admiral Aokiji was in his office when he received intelligence that Shichibukai Crocodile had withdrawn all his forces from Alabasta. He frowned at the stack of reports on his desk.

"And that woman Nico Robin actually left Crocodile and followed a mysterious man?"

Aokiji did not care about a Shichibukai like Crocodile. That was something the World Government should worry about. What he cared about was Nico Robin, the woman he had personally let escape from Ohara all those years ago.

Over the years, he had kept a close watch on Nico Robin in secret. Her supposedly clever disguises and her attempts to seek protection by joining various forces had never escaped his notice, including when she joined Shichibukai Crocodile several years ago.

But recently, the woman had left Crocodile's organization and gone off with a man of unknown identity. That made him take the matter somewhat more seriously.

Who exactly was this man?

Aokiji looked at the photograph in the file. It was extremely blurry, revealing only a vague outline: light blue tousled hair, a simple white shirt, slim black trousers, and a long sword in a green scabbard at his waist. His features could not be seen clearly.

The intelligence agents under his command could find no information whatsoever about the man.

"Been a long time since I rode a bike!"

A moment later, Aokiji lazily rose to his feet. He suddenly felt like taking a ride out on the sea, so he picked up the suit jacket behind him, draped it over his arm, and walked out of his office.
