Without giving Gloriosa a chance to speak, he rattled off accusations and took credit for himself.

It would have been better if he had said nothing. His words only made Gloriosa even angrier.

"You still have the nerve to say that? Do you really not know where I went last night?"

"And do you not know how these guards fell asleep?"

"Do you know where that kick of yours sent me last night?"

Gloriosa's chest heaved with fury. She was soaked from head to toe and looked utterly miserable.
