"Then you're pretty impressive!"
Hearing Oak's answer, Bonney stood up on his shoulder, gave him a pat, then gazed into the distance.
Could I really see Dad here?
Her eyes were full of anticipation, while Oak continued forward at his own pace. After walking some distance, the corner of his mouth curled up.
What a coincidence!
Right ahead of him, two sides were facing off. One side was a towering figure nearly seven meters tall, broad and muscular, wearing a white spotted bear-ear hat and rimless glasses. The other side consisted of two pirate crews.
"Dad!"
The moment she saw that burly figure, Bonney's eyes lit up. This man was the "father" she had longed to see ever since setting out to sea. She cried out excitedly and was about to jump down from Oak's shoulder, but Oak grabbed her.
"This isn't your dad!"
Holding Bonney by the back of her collar in one hand, Oak looked toward the opposite side of that "Kuma."
Of the two pirate crews, one was led by a red-haired man in a black fur coat. His face was full of arrogance, and he looked like a real troublemaker. Beside him stood a muscular man wearing a mask over long blond hair, with two scythes fixed to his arms.
The other crew was led by a man in a spotted hat, a yellow long-sleeved hoodie, and jeans, with a white polar bear at his side.
Both groups were young. They were Eustass Kid and his Kid Pirates, and Trafalgar Law and his Heart Pirates.
Trafalgar Law was precisely the target Oak had come to the Sabaody Archipelago to find.
"Let me go! That's my dad!"
Bonney kicked her little legs and struggled fiercely in Oak's grasp, stubbornly convinced that the person ahead was her father.
