Though the blow had not caused any actual injury, merely breaking through the limits of the Cause-and-Effect Fruit before its remaining force was stopped by his monstrous physique, it had still sent him flying this far.
He was moving at extreme speed and had no control over his body. He was about to fall into the sea, yet there was no panic on Oak's face.

He raised his palm and struck the sea below. The Paw-Paw Fruit's tremendous repulsive force erupted, instantly blasting away the seawater beneath him and leaving a bottomless abyss on the surface.
As he fell into the abyss, Oak quickly stabilized himself. Everything around him was pitch-black, while the repelled seawater had formed a vacuum zone.
