Oak stayed in Dressrosa for another two days, spending each day holed up in the palace, indulging himself in every luxury. Then, one day...
"What's going on? Why did it get dark?"
The residents of Dressrosa looked up.
For some reason, the sky above them had suddenly darkened, as though something enormous loomed overhead and blocked out the sun.
And it wasn't happening in just one small area. All of Dressrosa lay in shadow.
Just as people were looking around in alarm, unsure what was happening—
Rumble!
Several massive objects plunged from the clouds above with a thunderous roar.
"What are those?"
At first, they were too far away to make out. But as the enormous objects kept descending, the people finally saw what they were.
"Islands!"
"They're islands!"
"Islands are falling from the sky! More than one!"
Several islands were indeed falling toward them. Together, they covered an area larger than all of Dressrosa. No wonder they had blotted out the sun across the entire country.
The whole country erupted in panic. People ran desperately through the streets, trying to escape the shadow, their screams ringing out.
"Help!"
But to their despair, the islands loomed over the entire country. No matter where they ran, they remained in the shadow. The panic grew into chaos, and the commotion drew Kuma, Trafalgar Law, and the others out of the palace.
"What is that...?!"
On King's Plateau, Trafalgar Law stared in horror at the vast shadow cast by the islands overhead.
He had never seen anything so much like a natural disaster. Several islands were dropping straight out of the sky. What kind of phenomenon was this?
He stood frozen, staring.
Beside him, Kuma had spent far longer at sea and seen far more.
"That's... Golden Lion Shiki's power!"
