Background / History

Yang Xiong was originally an unmarried engineering maintenance technician from Earth. He was electrocuted while repairing a production-line machine and awakened as a newborn on the Douluo Continent, retaining his memories of his former life and knowledge of the original story. 1

He was born into a family of outer disciples of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect. His father, Yang Lin, wielded the Iron Sword Martial Soul and served as an outer deacon; his mother, Sun Yu, possessed a rare eye martial soul and handled sect patrols. His elder brother, Yang Wei, also inherited the Iron Sword. 1

Concerned by his family's limited prospects and his lack of a powerful inherited bloodline, Yang Xiong began physical training in childhood using fitness methods from Earth. His unusual Full-Body Martial Soul later proved capable of absorbing soul rings of any attribute without rejection, leading him to pursue a multi-attribute body-forging path. 1 11
